How We Met

Christie
Flowers and Bryan Hall met at Virginia Tech
in 1992 when Christie was a freshman and Bryan was a sophomore.
Christie had become friends with some guys who were talking about
starting a new chapter of the
ZBT fraternity.
Christie and Bryan met at a party the night that Bryan was invited
to join.

First Date

|
Their
first
official date was dinner at Bogen’s in
downtown Blacksburg and a movie -- Beauty and the Beast at
the Squires Student Center. They continued to date throughout their
college career.

First Jobs
|
|
|
Bryan
graduated from VT in December of 1994 with a BS in Computer Science. He
moved to Charlotte, NC to begin a job as a consultant for Broadway and
Seymour. Christie graduated in May of 1995 with a BS in Industrial &
Systems Engineering. She joined Bryan in Charlotte and started working
as a Materials Project Manager for
Solectron Technology. |

Engagement
|

Bryan
proposed to Christie on her birthday in 1995 at the
Bistro 100
in downtown Charlotte. |

Our Wedding
|
|
|
They got
married on July 27, 1996 at the
War Memorial Chapel
on the Virginia Tech campus. The reception was held at the
Mountain Lake Resort about 30
minutes from VT.
