Christie's family for a week at the beach.

finally made it to Davidson for a Concert on the Green. The
Band of Oz performed and it was a lot of fun!

Shannon & Brent recently moved into a house,
so we drove up to PA for a quick visit before our week at the beach. We
had a great time...we hung out at their house and went to the Philadelphia
Zoo!

We spent the week at Bethany Beach, Delaware
with Christie's family. The kids had lots of fun digging huge holes in the
sand and running from the waves!
SUNDAY: We arrived
Sunday afternoon and headed to the boardwalk that night.

MONDAY: We spent our
first day on the beach...the kids quickly discovered that they enjoyed digging
big holes in the sand and weren't too crazy about the ocean. Then we went
out to Fat Tuna for dinner that night. Courtney & her boyfriend JR joined
us for dinner and for cake to celebrate JR's 21st birthday!

TUESDAY: This was our
only rainy day. It rained ALL day, so the boys went to OC to see Charlie &
the Chocolate Factory and the girls went to Rehoboth to check out the outlets.
Then we took the kids to a puppet show that night at the Bethany Beach Town
Center and went to Bethany Blues for dinner.

beautiful day on the beach...Brandon practiced his frisbee throwing skills and
Gracyn decided to eat mouthfuls of sand. JR & Courtney came back to join
us for dinner and some games...they tried hard to beat us at Pictionary, but the
Hokie Halls were victorious in the end!

FRIDAY:
During our last day on the beach the boys finally seemed to warm up to the water
and Gracyn had stopped crying every time a wave crashed! That evening we
had dinner at Mango's and hit the boardwalk for shopping, music, ice cream and
more tattoos!

Brandon will be playing on his first soccer
team this fall at Strikers Soccer Center. Several of his best buddies are
on the team and Nate's dad is the coach! Bryan will also be helping out as
the assistant coach. They have already started practice and we look
forward to the games starting in mid-September!

We went to Davidson for our first "Concert on
the Green" of the summer with the Locey & Libbey families. We enjoyed a
potluck dinner and the kids had a ball running around and listening to the
sounds of the Band of Oz!
