Holden Beach Vacation 2004

Once again, we headed to Holden Beach for our annual vacation with Christie's
family. The usual suspects were in attendance: Nanny & Pop-Pop,
Caryn, Ryan & Carter, Courtney & her boyfriend Matt. We also got to spend
time with Aunt Bonnie, Bob, Maggie, Shane, Bobby & Holly...and Ben & Victoria
joined us for the last night! We had a great time and were sad to come
home...

|
- Beach Fun! - Despite the scattered
thunderstorms, we made it to the beach each day to enjoy sunshine,
sand & warm water!
|
|
|
- Back at the House! - We
stayed on Ocean Blvd this year at a house called Madeline's LegaSea.
|
|
|
- Friends & Family - We spent lots
of time with extended family and even took a trip to Wilmington to
visit friends!
|
|
|
- Brandon's Birthday! - We
celebrated Brandon's 3rd birthday with food, family and Nanny's
famous cake!
|
|
|
|
Brandon had a great time at the beach this
year! He had lots of fun "swimming" in the tide pools with his cousin
Carter and building sand castles with Daddy, Pop-Pop and Uncle Ryan.
DAY 1:

We stayed in a 2nd row house for the first
time this summer and enjoyed the very short walk to the beach. We had a
private beach access directly across the street which made it easy & convenient
to get to the beach with 3 kids! We just had to avoid the "attack bird"
that seemed to enjoy dive bombing everyone who walked past! Overall,
"Madeline's LegaSea" was a great house...probably our favorite yet!

We enjoyed visiting with friends & family
during our week at the beach. Aunt Bonnie and her crew joined us several
times for Ryan's delicious cooking and an occasional round of Taboo! We
made a special trip to Wilmington to visit Melanie, Steve & Chloe Bright, and
Uncle Ben & Victoria drove down from Durham to join us for our last night in
town.

away by a sudden rainstorm. We spent the rest of the day inside.
