Shannon & Brent's Wedding August 16, 2003
We traveled up to PA for the
weekend of Shannon & Brent's wedding. We stopped in MD to drop off Brandon
at Christie's parents' house and then headed to PA for the rehearsal on Friday
night. It was a hot day, but we made it through the rehearsal with the
help of some hand-made fans. Then we enjoyed a delicious dinner at Al
Mediterraneo...HUGE plates of antipasta, a variety of wonderful entrees
(monkfish seemed to be the most popular) and topped it off with a sampler of
desserts and some champagne. The next morning, we awoke to cloudy skies
and occasional thunderstorms. (Oh no!) We had brunch and then the girls
went for hair & make-up. The mood was pretty tense as we watched the rain
continue to fall all afternoon. Finally the clouds parted and the sun came
out just in time for the bride & bridesmaids to get to the church! The
wedding was beautiful and the reception was a blast!!

Rehearsal- We practiced the ceremony at the church and then headed
to Al Mediteraneo for a fantastic dinner!

- The Ceremony- The clouds parted and
the sun came out just in time for Shannon & Brent's beautiful wedding
ceremony!

- What a Party!!- Everyone had a great
time at the reception...the food was delicious, the DJ rocked and the
dancing went on until 1:30am!
