Here are pictures taken during July 2002.

- Zei Visit- Karen, Bill and Colin Zei came
to visit for the weekend. Here are some pictures from their
first day here.

- Chimney Rock- We spent several hours
hiking at Chimney Rock park.

We were very happy to have the Zei family come
visit us for the weekend. They arrived Thursday night and we spent Friday
in Charlotte while Bryan was at work. The babies had fun playing together
in the playroom and in the bathtub!

We left Saturday morning to drive to
Asheville for the weekend.
We spent the day walking around downtown, shopping, eating and listening to
bluegrass music at the
Shindig on the Green!

We visited
Chimney Rock Park, which is
located about 25 miles southeast of Asheville. We took a 26-story elevator
to the top of the Chimney, a 500 million year old massive rock jutting from the
mountain, to catch an impressive view of Lake Lure. We also hiked along
the Forest Stroll trail through deep woods to the most dramatic view of Hickory
Nut Falls.

After returning from Asheville on Sunday
afternoon, we headed to downtown Charlotte for dinner at the Rock Bottom
Brewery.

On Monday morning, we took the boys to the pool
to wear them out before the Zei's left to go home.

We celebrated Katie's 2nd birthday at a party
in her backyard! Brandon had a blast playing with all of his friends!
