Germany Trip - May 30th, 2002

Tuesday October 04, 2005
We couldn't believe that 10 days had past and it was almost time to return
home to the states. We said our goodbyes to Frau Reindl (she cried) and
Lake Walchensee, and headed back to Oma's house where we would spend our last
night in Germany. Of course it was a BEAUTIFUL day, so that made it even
harder to leave. We enjoyed one more scenic drive through the countryside
and stopped at Lake Alpsee for lunch and toured the gorgeous town of Meersburg.
Here's a quick menu to the various picture sets:
- Lake Alpsee- We left Lake Walchensee
and stopped at Lake Alpsee for lunch.
|
- Meersburg- We spent several hours touring
this beautiful city.

Lake Alpsee was a pretty little lake with lots of boats and even some swimmers! (I think the water was a little cold for that!) |

This exquisite Baroque town lies on the shores
of Lake Bodensee. Sometimes called Lake Constance, the Bodensee lies on
the border of Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

We stopped at this outdoor restaurant for some ice cream! It had beautiful trees, a rose garden and a breathtaking view of the Bodensee. |
