Germany Trip - May 22nd, 2002

Tuesday October 04, 2005

We drove to Ludwigsburg to visit the Ludwigsburg Palace or "Schloss Ludwigsburg."  Ludwigsburg Palace is one of Europe's largest baroque residences.  It was built by order of Duke Eberhard Ludwig von Württemberg (ruled 1693-1733).  On the way to Oma's birthday dinner, we stopped at a brewery and sampled the local beer while we sat outside by a river.  We ended the day with dinner at Hotel Krauthof to celebrate Oma's 80th birthday!

Here's a quick menu to the various pictures sets:

  • Brewery- We sampled some local beer at a brewery near Ludwigsburg.

We made it through about half of the tour before we had to sneak out...the kids weren't having much fun!

Brandon had fun crawling around and playing with a spoon. (Why do we waste our money on toys??)

Everybody is full!
