Germany Trip - May 21st, 2002

While Bryan's mom, uncle & grandmother were at an appointment, we spent a
couple of hours walking around the Breuningerland Mall near Oma's house.
We were nervous at first, but we found our way around and even got some money
and ordered a pastry and a Coke. Several people thought that we were
German and started to talk to us. Once they realized that we were
American, most were able to speak to us in English. Later that afternoon,
we drove around Stuttgart (where Bryan's mom lived during her teens) and visited
the Mercedes Museum there. Then we went to dinner at Uncle Bernd's
favorite Indian restaurant with his friend Johanna and her daughter Karoline.
While we were there, Sandra, Rafa & Alex arrived from Spain and joined us at the
restaurant.

learned about the history of the company at the Mercedes Museum.

when they arrived from Spain.
