July 3rd - The big day finally came! Brandon was finally born at 1:20am on July 3rd. Christie went through labor for about 20 hours, followed by another 2 hours of pushing. The baby was sunny-side up, which is much harder to deliver normally, so the decision was made to get him out by c-section.

July 4th - Christie is feeling a bit better today. She is up and walking around more and she's eating whole foods again. She had been on a liquid diet for about 2 days until her system returned to normal.

Brandon has checked out great on every physical test so far and is ahead of schedule in terms of his feeding goals. Brandon has been quite hungry, keeping Christie very busy! :)

July 5th - We come home Friday July 6th. I think we are all ready to get out of the hospital room! It is amazing how quickly you become attached to your baby...

July 6th - We departed the hospital today. The last few pictures are of Brandon and us getting ready for the trip.
